What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We looked online for Doodle breeders in the south west and found Cheristone Doodles easily. We wanted a dog from an excellent breeder and the website impressed us with the information given.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: After speaking to Becky, we arranged to visit Cheristone Doodles and we were so impressed! All the dogs and puppies we met were happy and extremely well cared for, and Becky's professional approach and friendly manner meant we didn't look anywhere else.

What were your favourite things about the process?: We've found the online resources invaluable and I know we're going to refer to them for a long time.
The Friday photo updates once the puppies were born were eagerly awaited!
We also loved the video meeting with the puppies - it was great fun to watch them wandering around and interacting.
We loved meeting the puppies in person. We were really nervous but Becky was wonderful and put us at ease, and the decision about which dog to choose was made really easy, as Isla picked us!
And our most memorable day was when we took Isla home.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We love Isla. She's friendly and inquisitive, and wants to be involved in absolutely everything! She loves meeting new people and is confident, happy and such fun to be with.
Her coat is golden and wavy, and everyone we meet tells her how beautiful she is.
She's very good at night and sleeps in her crate, is doing so well with toilet training, loves going out for walks, and she's been great on short car journeys.

Is there anything else we could do?: We don't think you could have done anything else to make things any easier. It was so reassuring to know we could contact you if we had any issues (we did, and you replied so quickly - thank you), and we felt extremely well supported as new puppy owners.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Just how happy we are with Isla and how proud we are to have a Cheristone Doodle. Thank you so very much for your incredible hard work and thoughtfulness - we've told so many people what an amazing job you do!

We've just finished 3 sessions with a trainer and he gave us such lovely feedback. He said for a 9 month old Nelson is doing great and is such a chilled, clever dog. He asked where we got him from and said we obviously got him from a very good breeder. So thank you Becky and of course Arwen.

Tilly's doing really well and fitted in with us as if she's always been here and has visitors from the village who've all fallen in love with her. I think a lot of it is to do with how she was bred and brought up and that's down to you, fantastic and caring breeder. Hope all the other pups doing well.

Rafa is showing incredibly positive signs for working as a mobility service dog one day. His temperament is so loving and trusting. He already loves training and learning behavior cues. He already has solid a sit, down, stand and a 5 second “wait” using hand signals. He’s very focused on me as well.

Like his siblings, he’s very clever. He doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive, which is great because his energy is really tuned into whoever is handling him.

The cutest thing he does so far is his crazy puppy zooms that happen after his lesson ends - he just seems so happy learning with us.

We’re hoping to take him on his first bus ride in a few weeks once his lead walking is reliable.

I wanted to say how absolutely delighted we are with our fabulous Blaise. You have done a truly amazing job which has of course helped us all settle in with a new resident.

He is not fazed by anything and takes most things in his stride. He is a brave and confident chap. We stick to a good routine in the evening, he is happy to go into his crate at night and is very content.

We have booked Blaise into a puppy school to remind us of the homework! We hope to stay in touch with Arwen’s litter to compare progress.
