Reuben

Reuben

Puppy's name: Reuben

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: Ethical breeding practices, transparency around health testing, and a breeder that prioritises socialisation and habituation during those crucial first eight weeks.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Once we'd found Cheristone Doodles, no other breeder was comparable. Becky's genuine passion, wealth of experience and complete transparency throughout the process is unmatched. I'd been nervous about finding a breeder that I could trust wholeheartedly, but I've had complete faith in Becky since day one.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Weekly updates! It's fascinating to see how quickly the puppies develop each week, and it's reassuring to hear about the new sights, sounds and smells they've been introduced to. By the time we met the litter at six weeks old, it felt like we already knew them! There's also a wonderful community of owners on the Facebook group. The Puppy Hub left no question unanswered – it's always been our go-to source of trusted advice and guidance – and the online training course is such a valuable tool, perfect for visual learners that aren't so keen on reading a book! We visited Cheristone HQ twice – once to choose our puppy, and again to collect him. Both visits were calm, well-organised and an absolute joy! We never felt rushed, and both Mabel and her puppies were clearly happy and healthy.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Reuben has exceeded our expectations in every way possible. He's incredibly confident – not at all phased by loud noises or being handled by strangers – and a quick learner. Toilet training has been straightforward (with only a couple of accidents inside the house) and he's always been happy to spend all night in his crate without complaint. He has a low-shedding coat that's just as soft as it looks!

Is there anything else we could do?: Becky and the Cheristone team go above and beyond with everything they do. There's absolutely nothing that could improve the service provided – it's been outstanding.

Norman

Norman

Puppy's name: Norman

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We wanted to make sure that the breeder we bought our puppy from was ethical and safe, and we loved how transparent everything was on the website.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: It was easy to find all of the information on the website and it was great that we had an introductory call with Becky and could ask all of our questions. I loved that I could look up everything about the dogs and the activities they’d get up to.

What were your favourite things about the process?: The amount of helpful information, whether that be on the website, through puppy hub, pictures on Facebook or directly from Becky. The going home presents were such a lovely token too, and Norman loves all of the toys! Becky could not have been more helpful with every step, and if we decide to get Norman a buddy down the line, we won’t look anywhere else but here!

How do you feel about your puppy?: We absolutely love Norman. He is such a lovely and clever boy and learning so much everyday. He’s starting to grow into his paws, he’s over 10kg now. He LOVES his food, food is such a great motivator. He loves cuddles and play time and is incredibly affectionate and happy with all of his humans! The fact that he has had minimal accidents and does everything on his grass when indoors is incredible! Now the fun begins as he is now fully vaccinated and able to go outside for walks… yay!

Is there anything else we could do?: Honestly no. I don’t think there is anything to improve on. The process was incredibly smooth, and the weekly updates and the video call were all lovely. We’re very happy.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Just a big thank you! We are so in love with our newest family member.

Mabel

Mabel

Puppy's name: Mabel

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: Finding an ethical, puppy centred breeder who raises puppies with passion and kindness.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: I don’t think there is a box which couldn’t be ticked by Becky and Cheristone Doodles. Fabulous support and clear information from first contact.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Gotcha day has to be the favourite thing! In terms of practical support. The puppyhub is an excellent resource full of all the information we could need for raising Mabel. The video training programme is excellent also. Such a lovely touch on gotcha day to have a goody bag to take home with toys, treats and, most importantly, smells to help Mabel ease into our life.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We are completely besotted and she is already a much loved member of our family. She’s a confident, happy and all round gorgeous girl!

Is there anything else we could do?: We can’t think of anything more, which you could do. It’s a huge support knowing Becky is there for questions should we have them in the future.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Just a huge thank you from both of us.

TJ

TJ

Puppy's name: TJ

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: TJ was our first puppy, so we were looking for a family-run breeder with a lot of experience to give them the best start so that the transition into the home was as easy as possible.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Becky clearly cares deeply about her puppies and the website gave lots of detail about the process, previous litters and the thought that goes into preparing them best for the wider world.

What were your favourite things about the process?: The facebook group is great to see how other dogs from previous litters progress and build a sense of community, and the weekly updates of each litter from birth were excellent. The puppyhub website was super useful to make it easy to buy the right stuff, and provide other guidance about raising the puppy.

How do you feel about your puppy?: TJ has been everything we could have asked for so far. She's super friendly to everyone, is totally unfussed with every stimulation she encounters (exploring the wider world, loud noises, grooming, vets, ...), was potty-trained and crate-trained from the moment she arrived, and has an absolutely beautiful coat.

Is there anything else we could do?: The website already includes some photos of previous litters' puppies, but potentially what could have been useful is for every previous litter photos of each of the puppies at 8 weeks and 1 year old, just to make it easier to browse what's the typical outcome might look like.

Copper

Copper

Puppy's name: Copper

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: Finding a reliable and considerate breeder was our biggest challenge. We were after a specific breed so recommendations from friends, whilst helpful, did not work for us.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: We came across Cheristone Doodles based on our own research. We were very impressed with the amount of information and detail that the website alone offered. Just by spending some time on the website and reading other reviews, we had a good sense of what the whole process would entail.

What were your favourite things about the process?: The puppy consultation which was the first step in this journey. Becky answered all of our questions in the meeting and we left it feeling that we were in safe hands. Of course, the highlight in the journey was to actually meet Copper.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Copper is a fun-loving, cute little guy. He is very affectionate and craves attention, cuddles and play time. He is hilarious when he rolls around and does zoomies.

Is there anything else we could do?: We found the process of getting a puppy from Cheristone Doodles extremely smooth. Becky is a highly knowledgeable breeder who just knows her stuff. We are glad that we found a responsible and caring breeder who was interested in our journey and was willing to make it as smooth as possible. Puppy Hub is a valuable source of information.

Matilda

Puppy's name: Matilda

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: A well rated breeder that looks after puppies as if they are their own pet, and somewhere able to give lots of advice and support to us as first time puppy owners

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Fantastic website with plenty of information on their dogs, the process, advice and amazing reviews from previous customers; incredibly friendly and helpful from day one; the most incredible puppies, honestly I could have taken them all home with me; so much support including a super helpful puppy hub; they do training videos, bringing us on the journey with lots of videos and photos in the first 8 weeks, introducing puppy sibling owners to each other, the lovely goodie bag we took home with us, the list is endless!!!!

What were your favourite things about the process?: Collecting Matilda was very special and bringing her home

How do you feel about your puppy?: We are absolutely smitten with Matilda, she is just perfect and fits so well into our family. I would say the feeling is mutual, she seems smitten too

Fenn

Fenn

Puppy's name: Fenn

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We’d dreamed of getting a dog for years and when the time finally came we wanted a breeder we could trust. We were also looking for a dog that I could trust wouldn't aggravate my mild allergies.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Becky at Cheristone Doodles stood out straight away. Her website was clear and easy to navigate, with her council license number, photos of previous litters and an easy way to book a consultation. She was patient and supportive while we decided on the right litter.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Becky made everything so easy and relaxed. We were kept updated with weekly photos and videos after the puppies were born and were absolutely spoilt for choice with Sapphire’s gorgeous litter in so many colours. Picking day was calm and unhurried and it was lovely to see how comfortable the mum was with Becky and with us as visitors. Collection day was very calm and well organised. Becky took time to explain what to expect and made sure we didn’t feel rushed. It was clear how much trust the puppies’ mum had in Becky and in us, which made the whole experience special and stress-free.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We’ve had Fenn for a week and a half and she’s already showing such calm and confident behaviour. She settled beautifully into her crate, loves her food and while she’s nowhere near toilet trained yet, her behaviour is so promising. She’s a little shy with new dogs but her confidence grows every day and thanks to Becky’s early training she took to going outside straight away. She’s already been out in her sling (pre-vaccination), meeting people, seeing traffic and even construction sites without fuss.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: The puppy hub was packed with useful guidance on feeding, crate training and everything we needed to prepare. Becky has also been so supportive post-collection, answering any questions quickly and putting our minds at ease as we settled Fenn in. Becky was so supportive throughout, even taking my mild dog allergies into account and reassuring me that I could step back if I reacted to the puppies. Thankfully Fenn’s coat hasn’t caused me any problems at all. We couldn’t recommend Cheristone Doodles enough if you’re looking for a gorgeous, well-adjusted, calm, curious and confident puppy.

Dilys

Dilys

Puppy's name: Dilys

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: It was important that the puppy came from a reputable breeder and that they were raised in a nurturing environment, giving them the best start in life.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Cheristone Doodles ticked all of our boxes, from the initial puppy consultation, where Becky talked us through the process and got to know who we were and what we needed, to the day we picked Dilys up which included a surprise goody bag for Dilys, the process was amazing and we felt supported from start to finish.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Our favourite thing about the process was the weekly Facebook photo's, seeing the puppies develop each week and hearing about what they had been up to, made everything better!

How do you feel about your puppy?: We are completely in love with Dilys, she is the most sociable, adorable, intelligent puppy. She is loving and yet independent and whilst we haven't reached the teenage years just yet, she is so well behaved (most of the time) - we wouldn't change her for the world and hopefully, she feels the same!

Is there anything else we could do?: Just keep doing what you're doing.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Just thank you!

Bugs

Bugs

Puppy's name: Bugs

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We knew we wanted a poodle-cross and have always loved Irish Setters. Irish Doodles are otherwise unheard of! It’s the one poodle cross not many people have and I honestly can’t understand why they’re not more popular. Beautiful colour, wonderful temperament and very intelligent.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: We found Cheristone Doodles through a simple Google search. Becky was informative, quick response time and just lovely. We knew we wanted a puppy in early Spring 2025 and knew we wanted a large dog - it just so happened Becky was breeding her Irish Setter for spring puppies! The stars aligned.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Becky put together a puppy hub for us before even getting the puppy - lots of useful information, great for preparation and also access to an online training course (paid for by Cheristone Doodles!). Loved the weekly updates from the day the puppies were born right up to collection day and Becky was always happy to answer any questions we had during the whole process.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Bugs is Irish Setter red with a white patch on his chest and a wavy, non-shedding (so far) coat. He’s naturally very social, great with all other dog personalities (according to our doggie-daycare!) and picks up new commands very quickly.

Is there anything else we could do?: Cheristone Doodles did a great job in getting us ready for our puppy, thank you very much!

Darwin

Darwin

Puppy's name: Darwin

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We were looking for a large hypoallergenic puppy to be a companion dog. We also wanted to ensure that we had a puppy who had the best chance possible of growing into a happy, healthy, well adjusted adult dog.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: The extensive information on Becky's website, and the easy booking of a puppy consultation meant we could find out absolutely all of the information we could possibly want to know before choosing our litter and puppy. We felt confident that we were going to find exactly the puppy we were looking for, and Becky made it all so straight forward.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Once Darwin and his siblings had been born, we absolutely loved the weekly updates with what they'd all been up to, and lots of photos and videos. We also really enjoyed a live video call where Becky introduced us to all of the puppies. And of course, who wouldn't love going and meeting a litter of 5 week old puppies to choose our wonderful Darwin.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Darwin is the absolute centre of our world. He definitely keeps us on our toes, but as cheesy as it sounds we really couldn't imagine our lives without him. We're so excited to come down every morning, and look forward to what activity we can do with him every weekend. Just looking at him puts a smile on my face, especially when he's sleeping!

Is there anything else we could do?: Becky does so much to give you all of the information you need and keep you updated throughout the entire process, I really can't think of anything else she could do.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Today is Darwin's first birthday, we're so overjoyed to have him in our lives and are so excited for the many years that are to come. I can't possibly see a way that anyone could go wrong choosing Becky to find their puppy.

On collection she was perfect in the car and had a stress free first night settling in to her new home. Latke

Latke

Puppy's name: Latke

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We were looking for a hypoallergenic dog who could potentially be trained as an Autism Assistance Dog for our daughter. In addition, we wanted an ethical, caring breeder who met all of the Dogs Trust's requirements for a responsible breeder

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Cheristone Doodles ticked every Dogs Trust box - and Becky instantly understood what we were looking for and could communicate with us and our adult autistic daughter.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Love, love, love. There are no words. Though it will be a while before Latke can be a licensed assistance dog, he's already made a huge difference to our daughter and our family.

Is there anything else we could do?: I honestly don't think so.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: I love the ethos of Cheristone and Becky - you really understand dogs, and more importantly people.

Izzy

Izzy

Puppy's name: Izzy

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We wanted to make sure we were using a responsible breeder who really cared for the mums and the puppies they bought into the world. We were also keen to know as much as possible about the heritage line.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Becky was so helpful, there is so much information available about the parents and she talked me through some of the information I didn't understand. My eldest son was afraid of dogs and we spoke at length about what this might look like with a puppy. Becky offered ways to make him feel more comfortable.

What were your favourite things about the process?: The weekly puppy updates on Facebook were the highlight of our week. Then when we got to meet our puppy that was really very special.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We couldn't imagine life without Izzy. She has been with us now for 3 months and made herself right at home. She is playful as you'd expect but also very cuddly and will happily sleep on the sofa in the evenings. We have had to learn a lot about puppy's and how to be the best owners. We cannot wait to take her on some adventures with her as she grows.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: The Facebook group is a great support network. There is always people on hand to offer their experiences on different topics. We are so very happy with Izzy and that we chose Cheristone in the first place. Thank you Becky.

Shelby

Shelby

Puppy's name: Shelby

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We were particularly looking for an allergy friendly dog, and a breed that was known to be good with children.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Becky was great from the start. I was able to visit to test my allergies without any expectation to proceed. I was very grateful for this. The appointments give you time to pick the right puppy and to ask any questions.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Becky was extremely friendly and no question was too silly. She made us feel comfortable throughout the process.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We adore our puppy. He is like a big teddy bear and loves cuddles. Despite getting very exciting around the children he is gentle with not an ounce of aggression.

Is there anything else we could do?: No, very happy with the process.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: We were amazed how quickly he was toilet trained. Clearly the puppies are trained from an early age to go to the toilet on grass, and from the moment he arrived he wouldn't go anywhere else. The artificial grass was gone within 48 hours and he was toileting outside. Massive credit to Becky, you clearly have a gift!!! Thank you.

Roxy

Roxy

Puppy's name: Roxy

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?:

- Trusted and experienced breeder with positive reviews from previous owners
- Being able to see where the puppies were living and know they were with their mum during the first 8 weeks
- Helpful support, guidance, and clear communication as we are first time pet owners
- Finding a breeder who would have puppies available at a time that suited us
- We knew we wanted a golden doodle (low shedding due to allergies)

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: From the very first contact Becky showed amazing professionalism and a wealth of experience with raising puppies and dogs.
We really appreciated being able to meet Becky on a video call before we had made any commitment. We were able to see a current litter and hear about Becky’s approach which gave us a lot of confidence.
Becky‘s communication throughout the journey was excellent and we felt as prepared as we could be when we finally were able to bring Roxy home.

What were your favourite things about the process?: We enjoyed the Friday Facebook updates with photos and videos, and the live Google meet, as they helped us feel connected to the puppies.
The choosing meeting was really well organised and it felt like we had loads of time to meet and play with the puppies as well as Mum, and make a decision as a family with Becky’s full support.
The puppy pack gift from Becky when we collected Roxy was a lovely touch and Roxy has really benefitted from everything in it.
The access to the owners Facebook group and the puppy culture training videos have been super helpful as we navigate how to help Roxy settle in well to our family life.
We really appreciated Becky keeping Roxy for a few extra days as we were unable to collect her at the designated weekend. She seemed to fit in well with another litter during this time which was nice to see.
It’s a small thing, but the way Becky noted down personal details about us meant a lot, e.g. our daughter’s name who had been instrumental in encouraging us to get a dog, and the name we had chosen for our puppy which we shared with Becky at our choosing meeting. Seeing our puppy’s name on the emails we got about the insurance and the microchip felt really lovely.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Our whole family absolutely adore Roxy and she brightens all our days! She has a beautiful blonde, fluffy coat with lovely white markings on her chest. We think she is so handsome!

Is there anything else we could do?: We were very happy with the process as it was.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Thank you for making the experience of bringing home our first puppy so special.

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: It was essential to us that our puppy had a good start in life in with an ethical, caring breeder who focused on the welfare of mum and pups and who was knowledgeable about the breed and helpful to us as new owners. We wanted a healthy, well socialised puppy and we wanted to know as much as possible about her, her parents and siblings.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Becky 100% met all of our criteria and has been wonderful throughout. She has gone above and beyond with information and support for us and with her care and attention with the puppies. We cannot praise Cheristone Doodles highly enough.

Meeting the puppies was a joyful experience - although choosing only one was a challenge! The community of owners on Facebook is a real asset and Becky’s willingness to offer advice and support both before and once we’d brought our puppy home was invaluable.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We love our puppy! It’s been hard work at times adjusting to having a new ‘baby’ in our home again but that’s to be expected. She’s very clever - she’s learnt lots of cues already - she’s affectionate, fun and a bit goofy! We can’t imagine not having her in our family.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Thank you Becky! The whole experience with you has been simple, easy and enjoyable and we can’t thank you enough for giving us our lovely Moki.
