What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: I knew Matilda's mum, my friend's dog Betsy whose perfect temperament made me love her from day 1. She's intelligent, sociable, calm and naturally a very good mum. I was immediately captivated by Matilda who has already shown the same characteristics and has quickly settled. She's a credit to Becky and her close team and their socialisation skills.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: I knew Cheristone Doodles from the beginning of their conception. Becky was determined to not only breed her dogs with love but to do so in an ethical, professional and caring way. She also helps potential clients to negotiate their way from the beginning and wonderful after care.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Hearing about and seeing updates of the puppy from the beginning until she came home. Receiving a toy and blanket that smelt of her home to help her settle.

How do you feel about your puppy?: She's wonderful, learning and settling very quickly, confident, placid and brilliant with my grandchildren.

Is there anything else we could do?: I think you cover everything I can think of and many that I didn't know I needed to know.

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: It was so important to us that we were going to choose a breeder who put the puppies health and well-being at the forefront and shared their journey with us from
Birth to gotcha day. We wanted to ensure as a crossbreed that sufficient genetic testing had been done and that the breeder was passionate about what they did.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Cheristone doodles ticked our boxes in every single way. No question, no matter what, however big or small was too much for Becky who answered right away. We knew when to expect a litter and what the process was from the outset and were made to feel at ease from day one. The puppy hub we were provided with answered all our questions and really supported us in getting ready for our beautiful pup.

What were your favourite things about the process?: We absolutely adored the process with Becky. Getting to watch as the puppies grew with weekly pictures on the puppy page, to meeting mum and pups and even a zoom call when they were little. Every little detail and reassurance made the process so magical and exciting. Just knowing that Becky is there even after taking our little one home is so special, and the fact that we can watch as his litter mates grow and develop too is amazing too. Becky is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable and really put us at ease from the start.

How do you feel about your puppy?: Our little Rùben is just perfect, and the cutest little man with the most beautiful red and white markings . He really has made our house a home. We are in awe of how confident and happy he really is. No nerves at all despite such a big change, and just as cheeky as ever! Since coming home we have had no accidents, and is incredibly happy doing any business outside. On top of that he is already sleeping through the night in his crate, something which we did not even think would be possible only days after bringing him home. It is so clear to us that this is all down to Becky and her team, with all the hard work they have put in socializing and training them already from a young age. We could not be more thrilled with our gorgeous boy! Thank you so much Becky!

Is there anything else we could do?: There is really nothing else that could have been done to support us. We have been thrilled with all the support we have been given from day 1, even before puppy was born.

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We had been interested in getting a doodle pup for quite a long time. As soon as we saw the Cheristone Doodles website, we were hooked and as soon as we saw Peggy and that there would be Irish doodle puppies, we were sold. Seeing that Cheristone did genetic screenings was also a huge selling point to us. Knowing that our puppy came from an experienced breeder who cares about what they do was really important for us.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: Everything about the experience of getting a puppy from Cheristone was brilliant. At every step, all of the information you need is there for you and Becky is so supportive. The Facebook group is a helpful way to chat to other doodle owners who can give advice, but most of all, the puppy hub is an amazing resource that has provided valuable support in the early stages of preparing for and bringing home our puppy.

What were your favourite things about the process?: Having the initial reservation phone call with Becky was very useful. Becky was very helpful and informative and this, as first time puppy buyers, was very supportive and helpful. Having the puppy hub has also been great.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We absolutely love our Indie. She is gorgeous with the beautiful colouring of a red setter and the slight curls of a doodle. She has settled so well into family life and is an absolute dream in terms of her personality and behaviour - she has a keen want to learn and is very curious, which we love!

Is there anything else we could do?: Nothing that I can suggest!

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Thank you so much for everything. We are so happy with our little Indie - she has completed our family and is a very special pup.

What was important to you when looking for a puppy?: We looked online for Doodle breeders in the south west and found Cheristone Doodles easily. We wanted a dog from an excellent breeder and the website impressed us with the information given.

How did Cheristone Doodles tick your boxes?: After speaking to Becky, we arranged to visit Cheristone Doodles and we were so impressed! All the dogs and puppies we met were happy and extremely well cared for, and Becky's professional approach and friendly manner meant we didn't look anywhere else.

What were your favourite things about the process?: We've found the online resources invaluable and I know we're going to refer to them for a long time.
The Friday photo updates once the puppies were born were eagerly awaited!
We also loved the video meeting with the puppies - it was great fun to watch them wandering around and interacting.
We loved meeting the puppies in person. We were really nervous but Becky was wonderful and put us at ease, and the decision about which dog to choose was made really easy, as Isla picked us!
And our most memorable day was when we took Isla home.

How do you feel about your puppy?: We love Isla. She's friendly and inquisitive, and wants to be involved in absolutely everything! She loves meeting new people and is confident, happy and such fun to be with.
Her coat is golden and wavy, and everyone we meet tells her how beautiful she is.
She's very good at night and sleeps in her crate, is doing so well with toilet training, loves going out for walks, and she's been great on short car journeys.

Is there anything else we could do?: We don't think you could have done anything else to make things any easier. It was so reassuring to know we could contact you if we had any issues (we did, and you replied so quickly - thank you), and we felt extremely well supported as new puppy owners.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: Just how happy we are with Isla and how proud we are to have a Cheristone Doodle. Thank you so very much for your incredible hard work and thoughtfulness - we've told so many people what an amazing job you do!

We've just finished 3 sessions with a trainer and he gave us such lovely feedback. He said for a 9 month old Nelson is doing great and is such a chilled, clever dog. He asked where we got him from and said we obviously got him from a very good breeder. So thank you Becky and of course Arwen.

Tilly's doing really well and fitted in with us as if she's always been here and has visitors from the village who've all fallen in love with her. Rafa is showing incredibly positive signs for working as a mobility service dog one day. His temperament is so loving and trusting. He already loves training and learning behavior cues. He already has solid a sit, down, stand and a 5 second “wait” using hand signals. He’s very focused on me as well.

Like his siblings, he’s very clever. He doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive, which is great because his energy is really tuned into whoever is handling him.

The cutest thing he does so far is his crazy puppy zooms that happen after his lesson ends - he just seems so happy learning with us.

We’re hoping to take him on his first bus ride in a few weeks once his lead walking is reliable.

I wanted to say how absolutely delighted we are with our fabulous Blaise. You have done a truly amazing job which has of course helped us all settle in with a new resident.

He is not fazed by anything and takes most things in his stride. He is a brave and confident chap. We stick to a good routine in the evening, he is happy to go into his crate at night and is very content.
